Description

Bumetanide is a potent loop diuretic that inhibits the Na?/K?/2Cl? symporter in the thick ascending limb of the loop of Henle. It is used in research involving fluid and electrolyte balance, kidney function, hypertension, and heart failure models.

This injectable formulation contains 0.5mg of Bumetanide per 2ml vial, with 5 vials per box. It is widely employed in pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic studies of diuretics and renal function modulators.

Approved by the China NMPA (H20057376) and manufactured by Henan Xintai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

For laboratory research use only. Not for clinical or human use.

Mechanism of Action & Research Applications

Bumetanide selectively inhibits the Na?-K?-2Cl? cotransporter (NKCC2) in the loop of Henle, leading to significant diuresis and natriuresis. In laboratory settings, it is often used to model fluid retention disorders, renal dysfunction, loop diuretic response, and electrolyte imbalances.

It is also studied in neurodevelopmental and epilepsy research due to its influence on chloride transport in neurons.
