Description
Romiplostim is a recombinant Fc-peptide fusion protein that mimics the biological activity of endogenous thrombopoietin (TPO). It binds and activates the thrombopoietin receptor (MPL), stimulating the proliferation and differentiation of megakaryocyte progenitor cells, resulting in increased platelet production.
Romiplostim for Injection NO1 (Ruilisheng) is formulated as a lyophilized powder for reconstitution, containing 250?g per vial. It is widely used in preclinical studies involving immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), bone marrow suppression, and chemotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia.
Manufactured by Qilu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., the product is approved by China’s NMPA under the number S20240013, product code 86904021004989, and barcode 6915798007206.
For laboratory research use only. Not for clinical, diagnostic, or veterinary applications.

Mechanism & Research Applications
Romiplostim functions as a TPO receptor agonist, activating the MPL receptor on megakaryocyte precursors in the bone marrow. This promotes proliferation, maturation, and subsequent platelet production. Unlike native thrombopoietin, romiplostim avoids immunogenic cross-reactivity by using a peptide sequence with high receptor specificity.
It is commonly used in research on:
Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) models
Chemotherapy or radiotherapy-induced thrombocytopenia
Bone marrow function recovery
Megakaryocyte differentiation and signaling pathways
Hematopoietic toxicity mitigation
