Description
Cyclosporine (cyclosporin A) is a cyclic undecapeptide immunosuppressant derived from Tolypocladium inflatum. It inhibits calcineurin and suppresses T-lymphocyte activation and interleukin-2 production. Widely used in organ transplant immunology research, autoimmune inflammation models, and PK/PD immunosuppressant studies. Provided in soft gelatin capsules containing 25?mg cyclosporine per capsule, 50 per box. For laboratory research use only.

Mechanism of Action & Research Applications
Cyclosporine selectively suppresses calcineurin phosphatase activity in T cells, inhibiting interleukin?2 and cytokine release. Ideal for research involving organ transplant rejection, autoimmune disease mechanisms, and immunosuppressive pharmacology. Supports in vitro human T?cell assays and animal transplantation models.
Side Effects (For Reference Only in Research Models)
Experimental analogs note potential nephrotoxicity, hypertension, tremor, hyperlipidaemia, and elevated liver enzymes. These effects inform safety design in dosage-response studies, especially in renal/immune system investigation models.
